Rental Subscription

Select games and manage your personal rental play list. We will send you the games on your play list according to the number of rental slots you have purchased.

You can enjoy playing the games for as long as you like, provided you maintain an active rentals subscription

Return them when you are ready by logging into your account. Select the next available game in your rental play list. The new rental game will be posted once we have confirmation of your return.

Your rental play list is a selection of games you have chosen from our rental library.

Select an available game from your play list when you return a game.

Note: Rental games are posted on a first come first served basis so it may be that the top game on your list has already been checked out to another customer.

In this case we will send the next game on your play list, we encourage you to keep at least a "Top 10" list so we always know what to send you next.

Yes, you can move games up and down your play list by clicking on the up and down arrow buttons. You can remove a game from your Play List using the recycle bin button under the game.

Arrange the games in your playlist in order of priority to let us know which games you want to play next. We will fulfil your next rental subscription from the first available game based on your play list.

Yes, search for the game in our rental library or your rental play List and click the "Rent" button.

If you already have a subscription we will automacically offer to upgrade your subscription with an additional game.

You can add up to seven extra games to your subscription.

When you are ready, login to your account and click return. Use the return label and postage bag provided. (If you lose your label you can request a QR code from our site to show at the post office.)

No, you can keep games for as long as you like provided that you have an active subscription. Simply return the game when you are ready for your next game.

You can cancel your subscription at any time by clicking on your account icon (top right), select "Membership" from the drop down list and the click cancel button on the subscription product you wish to cancel.

Please ensure you return any games you have in your possession before your renewal date as the cancellation will take effect from the end of the rental period in which you returned the game to us.

Although we check each game when it returned to ensure all parts are accounted for, if you find a component missing please get in touch with us and we will see how we can help.

Please let us know as soon as possible. Our terms and conditions page describes the replacement costs for damaged/missing components, as these will vary based on whether the component is non-essential (i.e. the game can still be played without it) and/or difficult to replace (e.g. because the game is out of print).

My Board Game Library is a web site that let's you manage and grow your personal board game library. Our search facility scans thousands of games and provides useful information on a handy library card. Click on a card to access further details, reviews and videos about a Game.

As you build your personal library you can track your plays and scores and review your most played games. Members have the option of buying a game to try and return if you don't like it. Membership also unlocks discounts and exclusive offers as well as priority on My Board Game Library events (such as Charity Gaming Days).

You do not have to register to make use of the My Board Game Library search engine and learn more about our services. You will have to register to make use of personalised features such as setting up your personal game library, tracking your plays, and making purchases through the web site.

You don't need to be a member to use the My Board Game Library Search engine; view any of our game cards; make an online purchase of a game; trying our personal library management system; tracking your plays or using our rental library features.

You do need an active membership to unlock unlimited number of board games in your personal board game library; "Buy and Try" (30 days to try) a game. Membership also unlocks members-only features (such as Market Place to Sell the games in your library), member discounts, and exclusive offers.

Importantly, Membership also supports us in maintaining this website and helps us to keep adding cool new features for our customers!

My Board Game Library returns search results in the format of a handy card that contains key information about the game such as length of play, number of players, complexity, recommended player age, game popularity, score and price. The game card also lets you add a game to your personal library / wish list and track your plays of that game.

Search for the game then click on the icon on the game's card.

With "Buy and Try" we will send you a brand new copy of the game for 30 days at which point you can either keep it, return it or rent it from us.

If you decide to keep the game no further action is required

If you want to return it, simply follow our re-roll policy and you will recieve a refund for the game only.

If you wish to convert to a subscription to keep the game simply register for subscription

Search for the game and click on the game card. You should find "How to Play" video tutorials for most games.

Rental games include a library card with a QR code on it that will take you straight to the game's page on My Board Game Library when scanned with your phone's camera.

We send all our games via couriers using recorded delivery services which typically get to you within 5 days. If you a have ordered a re-stock item we will notify you of expected arrival times.

Currently we only deliver to locations in England, Scotland and Wales, however, if you wish to place an order from outside this area please get in touch so we can discuss your specific needs.
